About “Hossein Ashraf”
Dr. Hossein Ashraf is a highly experienced eye surgeon and specialist with a fellowship in retina, vitreous, and laser eye surgeries. He is proficient in performing a wide range of eye surgeries, including LASIK, retinal surgeries, cataract removal, glaucoma treatment, trauma surgeries, and various laser procedures like Femto and SMILE.
Dr. Ashraf earned his general medical degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1989 and completed his ophthalmology specialization there in 1993. He furthered his studies at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. He is a retired professor at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and a member of several professional associations, including the Iranian Ophthalmology Association, the Fars Ophthalmology Association, and the European Retina Association.
Throughout his 30-year career, Dr. Ashraf has published over 50 articles in both international and national journals and has received multiple accolades from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, the Ophthalmology Association, and the Farabi Festival.
