About “Ramin Salouti”
A highly accomplished ophthalmologist, this individual ranked first in the Iranian Ophthalmology Board Exam in 1994 and was awarded the Gold Medal in International Ophthalmology Examinations (ICO) affiliated with Cambridge University. They have pioneered several advanced eye surgeries in Iran, including the introduction of Modern Cataract Surgery (Phacoemulsification) in Fars Province in 1991, Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK) using the Melles technique in 2002, Sutureless Corneal Transplant Surgery (DSAEK) in Fars Province in 2005, Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK) in 2009, and Laser-Assisted Lamellar Keratoplasty (Femto-enable DALK) in 2009.
